people who are saying wii has supply issues must be joking.

i dont understand the Wii is fading comments at all......by now i would hope anyone who possesses logic about a 2nd grade level understands that the Wii is ging to dominate the sales of Sonyand MSFT this entire generation and just needs to focus on MSFT and Sony for second place.........

Now that thats out of the way, if the 60gb is readily available, which it is, and with madden launching the only news out of this is MSFT is in trouble because they now have their new SKU, and their cards on the table whereas the PS3 still has their new lower priced SKU to come (in terms of 40 extra gigs and dualshock). This is huge huge huge for Sony compared to MSFT these numbers, imo.

Lets just stop trying to find a negative for nintendo, there is no negative for nintendo when it comes to sales figures, i pray for the day peple realize that the Wii is here to sstay an here to dominate for a long long time.

Bring on the MSFT Sony debates, but lets just let nintendo roll on please.

These numbers point to an interesting thing though.......i am shocked that the PS3 is ahead with limited MGS bundles and people already knowing the 80gb is coming with a DS3 for the same price as the 40gb sixaxis.......remarkable for Sony, terrible for MSFT.

Sales should be up for this week for the Wii. And yes, while stockpiling for Xmas is a bit early, I can imagine that for the Labor day weekend coming up soon, stores wouldn't mind having a few Wiis about to pull in some more customers to buy whatever else that the store has to offer.

And the reason it takes so many kills is quite obvious. Wii is the gamecube turned into a Vampire (Vampires are two-three times more powerful than humans, have a very pale (white) complexion and are really hard to kill) and the PS360 hasn't found a holy water and garlic soaked wooden crucifix with stake ends yet.

And Why do you think it was named Wii for? the W is obviously its fangs while the ii's are the marked left in its victims with the blood running down from the double bite marks.

I think the PS3 will truly be on a rise when the PS3 manages to outsell the Wii for one week without it being moved by a big title.

if the new ps3 comes out soon in good supply, it CAN (NOT will) be ahead of the wii for the week ending aug. 23 and/or aug 30.

Usually there's lower sales before a huge surge so you're probably getting a little too excited cause you'll probably get your hopes dashed.
