Congrats. Both of them were fantastic members in my book.

I thought stof was the top mod.
Or is it DKII?
I'm so confused right now!

Oh no, there was another one that was quite recent, I just don't remember what game it was about.

Congrats guy!
I think you'll both be great mods!

Okay, I suppose it's time to address this thread:
No, ssj12 isn't a mod at the moment. Why isn't really something I want to discuss publicly right now. He is still a valued member of our contributor staff and one of our main PR representatives for VGChartz.
Yes, I'm aware of Onyxmeth's 1 previous ban (and how bad it was), and we had a talk about it. I'm not looking for perfection. Such a thing doesn't exist. I myself have made plenty of mistakes. For me it's more important for someone to realize they made a mistake and to change their behavior because of it.
Onyxmeth was primarily chosen as a mod because the 360 forums need cleaning, and he spends the vast majority of his time there. Very few people even report posts on the 360 forums for some reason, and it leads to a lot of rule violations going unpunished. A moderator who's active and usually browsing those forums should help keep them in line.
Makingmusic was chosen as a generally good poster and active user. He should help keep the mod jobs down which build up on occasion, and will continue to contribute to keeping the Sony and Nintendo forums clean, where he spends the majority of his time.
Yes, I am "head moderator." My technical title is Community Manager, and the moderating staff is the decision of myself, DKII (as Site Manager), and ioi (as Site Owner). I believe both Onyxmeth and makingmusic476 will be a good addition to the moderating staff.
They, like all other mods, will be expected to use their moderating powers only in the upkeep of the site, and post respectfully when they are acting as posters. Of course, if you have a problem with them or any moderator feel free to email mods@vgchartz.com or message me on the site. If you have any private comments you'd like to submit to me please message me as well.
As Community Manager I try to ensure you the user are protected by a fair and reasonable moderating staff, and have an enjoyable experience here on VGChartz. Thanks for the feedback and please continue welcoming our new moderators.

That's when you say something when you mean your mother.
If modship was based purely off the length of time your account has existed, this site would be in utter ruins at the moment with old posters like Hus, Monty and Kwaad running the show.
Anyone wonders why in the hell is Soriku not a mod? He's been here for a long time hasn't he? (almost 2 years?)
Anyways, hope they fill out their positions and stuff.
Gballzack as a mod anyone?
Membership lengths shouldn't be a major factor otherwise people like me that have been here a while but mostly lurk and don't contribute as much would be mod even though most people don;t know who the hell I am.
A mod should obviously have been a member long enough and active enough for those making the decisions to assess their character but once that is achieved further lengths of membership are not linkely to contribute much and can even be detrimental to modship potential (as we are all human and more likely to screw up eventually as time goes by).
Well, congrats to the new mods and good luck.

Congrats to both, good to see some cool people get their chance to wear red.
Well ok, congrats only to Onyxmeth - I don't know if makingmusic476 deserves to be a mod because he intends to perma ban me when he figures out how to do it.
Last word: Help?!
