I guess we'll find out... :)

jk - Well Killzone 1 didn't sell all that great, so kz2 has a lot of room for improvement, however, being a sequel on an unpopular franchise it better be advertised well or it will also sell <1m.

Killzone 1 is over 1-2 million copies sold.....

its safe to say killzone will hit 2 million lifetime. (thats being very low)

Maybe not. A lot of people bought it because of the hype but a lot of people thought it sucked and might not buy KZ2...so who knows.

lol ill be very surprised that this game doesnt hit 2 million lifetime VERY surprised. but if it does suck then yea who knows. it will hit a million but i think 2 million is pretty much a given.

That would be sad. I hope it doesn't happen.

If a FPS game fails what does it matter really? I mean there are at least 20 FPS games for every console every year. I could care less if a Haze here and there falls through the cracks, not like there aren't 10 million other choices. I don't even know how people keep up with it all. I mean recently there's Army of Two, Battlefield Bad Company, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Warhawk, UT3, Rainbow Six Vegas 2....I mean the list just goes on and on and on.

It doesn't matter much when a FPS game bombs since you can just get a different FPS the next week. What matters more is when less represented game categories bomb. If Little Big Planet sucked or Gran Turismo 5 sucked that would be a WAY bigger deal.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a mediocre game. I looked at the gameplay; graphics are impressive, yet it looks like a generic shooter to me. But of course I'd be disappointed that another Sony-Exclusive didn't live up to the hype. >_>

Then KZ2 would be like KZ1? ;-p

You mean hyped to heaven and can't deliver?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

i would cry and blame microsoft for no reason.

It very well could be a big let down, when Killzone 1 came out it was suppose to be considered the "Halo killer" but then it ended up getting alot of bad reviews. Game Ranking's gave it 73% out of 80 reviews and Metacritic gave it 70% out of 67 reviews.

I wouldn't care cause sometimes I think I'm the only guy who was really impressed with the first game and thought it was the best FPS on the PS2 (beside MoH:Frontlines)

If KZ2 does 60-70% then the forums would fill with KZ2 = Too Human!!!

hehe..

K1 was disappointing, big chance that Killzone 2 will just follow the footsteps.
