i think that this arguments can be true for the hard drive and the differences between the cell (ps3) and the xenon (360) but is the same between Power PC and Pentium.
The power between ps3 and xbox 360 dont matter, because the power is the same, maybe one system can be more powerfull but the difference is small.
But is sony people is logicical that they talk good of his systems, like nintendo and microsoft people talk good about his systems.

| Tispower said: Microsoft must be kicking themselves for making the core, I mean the premium version accounts for 90% of purchases, and it means that games are going to be easier to do in the PS3, eventually. Plus, isn't this game made by Sony anyway, so they're hardly going to put it on a competitors saystem are they? |
I really don't think so...
If a developer REALLY wanted to use the harddrive, they would. They would just put a "Requires Xbox 360 harddrive" sticker on the box. Majoras mask required an expansion pack, as did Donkey kong 64. Donkey Kong 64 packed it in with the game. They could sell a version with the harddrive packed in for a slight discount ($120-$130). Or just sell it alone, as Majoras Mask was, and require the consumer to go out and buy the harddrive themselves if they indeed didn't have one. This is the exact same thing to me. I really don't see the difference.

I was wondering about that actually. Does Microsoft allow third parties to make games that require the harddrive? And if so, would a third party want to sales wise? What's the % of 360 users that don't have the harddrive in it?
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.
Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
90% of 360 owners have a hard drive. This is assuming that the 10% of 360 owners that did by the Core system did not go out and buy a hard drive at a later date. The Core does not sell well at all. Creating the Core was a boneheaded move by MS and not killing it off by now is yet another boneheaded move on their part.

only possible on the ps3? well i thought it looked like crap anywhy (graphicall wise, i know the game is good). sony really needs to shut and just make good games, there is ne nood for this.

Well they already sold at least one harddrive required game at retail, Football Manager 2006, so it's not like it would be impossible to release another.

That's right Blue3, give lip to the mods, that's worked out great for you in the past, lol. It also kind of defeat the purpose of calling Wii-bias on the comments in this thread when the only person claiming Wii bias is you, one of better recognized Sony fanboys on the forum well known for their own unapologetic fanboyism. I also like how you essentially say that the ability to acknowledge reality and recognize the obvious is something obviously akin to Wii fans.
On topic, perhaps game can only be done on PS3, but if that the case it was because game was made specifically for the PS3, big surprise there. These comments seems to be the great boast of faith that Sony give any of their exclusives usually in order to dismiss any hope that it will go cross platforms. Ah, but of course, taking a step back and looking at situation objectively only illustrate how much Wii fanboy I am. Guess it a no win for doomed fools like myself and my doomed console. ;p
End of 2007 Predictions:
Wii =18m
360=14m
PS3=7m
DS=64m
PSP=30m
