Pretty much, yeah. They said that a while back...

So then why is this site so excited about this game? I thought it was because of the multiplayer.

Most people are excited about the game because it seems to be one of the first real attempts at making a good, core game for the Wii by a third party. A good number of people have voiced their unhappyness about there being no splitscreen multiplayer though.

I actually wanted The Conduit because I thought it would've had splitscreen multiplayer. If they ever release another Conduit game, I'm hoping High Voltage was well-versed enough in Wii hardware from the first game to be able to pass their technical inabilities and do it for the second one.

Basically using a router and the Wiis to make a local network where they communicate between one another rather than through the internet. LAN = Local Area Network
