Not to sound like a fanboy but.....No chance in hell that's  66%  of all PS3 owners right now...

I do believe it will do well, but you gotta take into account that a few million PS3 owners simply bought it as a blu-ray. So they are obviously not gonna buy the game no matter how much marketting is gonna be thrown at them.

I do will admit this game WILL have respectable sales. Easily one of the highest sellers on PS3. Easily Rivaling, and exeeding Metal gear solid 4 IMO.

Actually, this game may have great legs if there is a great community, and because it has local co-op, when people come round they can see what is on offer and spread it, but it still wont make it to 10m

You know it's just the little things that make a game big, and you can already tell that LBP is very keen on detail. For example http://littlebigplanet.com/en_US/ Mouse over the sack boy and watch what he does.

 

  1. I don't.  It's a casual game that doesn't market the systems core audience.  Remember, not everyone comes to forums like these or scours news sites like Kotaku and they don't know what LBP is.  They see the commercials and they some kiddy crap game.
  2. Yes I have seen the game and that's the reason it isn't going to make the stupid number 10 million.  I personally like the look but as stated above, it's the wrong look for the wrong audience.
  3. There are very few people on message boards like these.  Again, the people here are not the majority by any means.
  4. No, I think it will be lucky to reach 1 million in the first year and 1.5 lifetime.

20 million is out reach for any ps3 game,

i think depending on reviews it could go anywhere from 5 to 10 million, no more than that
