Don't get pushed back by some small boring parts like I did. It took me 6 months to complete the first 40% of the game and then I've completed the last 60% in less than a week.

Also forget about collecting all the poes and bugs. Thats 2 mindless grinding side-quests with very little rewards which will make you hate the game if you try to find them all.

I had no issues with the water temple, actually found it quite easy, but then again, I've also done the Water temple in Ocarina of Time. THAT was a pain in the ass. There was also some.

I haven't even bothered with the"collect the Poes/Bugs/Cats stuff. All you do is get some gold, and except for powering up the Invincibility Armor, there's really no need for it. I've never needed the armor (though I do admit it looks schwanky) so I've just never bothered. I may have to go through and use a gamefaqa page to explore everything sometime. Cause I really only focused on the main story, and didn't bother with much of any of the sidequest stuff unless i found it particularly entertaining.

Did anyone ever try to use the fishing rod against Ganondorf during the final fight? I think I might have been the first to find out about it, but I didn't know about Kotaku/Joystiq/GoNintendo at the time...!
