Forums - Sony - Could it be ?.............. LBP boxart

colorful and nice boxart.

That looks great imo. Sackboy is so cute. I really think LBP is going to be PS3's NiGHTS into Dreams. (not implying saturn=PS3, PS3 will sell much more. I just mean that they may both play a similar role for the system and may both be remembered as cult classics.)

the lbp cover art looks a lot better then the other covers.

i really do think the sack boy looks really cute

I'm not interested in the game, but there is no way they would let such a crappy cover be the official one.

Edit:" This 'must' be a fake! =(

Nice cover I love it! But for someone who has never heard of the game will be very confused...

Former something....

i love this box arts

Thats horrid......looks too kiddie for a game that I feel is supposed to be for an variety of different aged people. Also sacboys are extremely creepy.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I love it. Sackboy does look pretty creepy though... probably has something to do with the tilted head and the smile that says "I wanna touch your insidey parts".

Let's see, very colorful. Large smile on the avatars face. 7+ obviously designed to appeal to on market fragment: preteen, bridge title, expand PS3 audience while not insulting core audience. Interesting take, since title is aimed at everyone, why not create a universal boxart? Perhaps it has a secondary appeal as an arthouse cover, given the "paper cutout" type college artclass design, and the graph paper background barely visible.

They'll certainly tone down the pink, and up the "adult" orientation for the American boxart, so it can be perceived as "cool" to impluse buyers.

The globe is a subtle reference to games online nature, however online isn't touted on the box, to keep from alienating potential purchases.

Appealing to at least one market fragment, fairly artistic and upbeat, stands out on the shelf.

8/10

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
