It won't be long before the Ps3 overtakes the 360 on a weekly basis, just wait for the shortages to end and the new introduction of the new 80gb will see sales spike, and who can forget christmas is around the corner. So sales will accelerate!
if you compare the 80gb ps3 ($399) to 60gb xbox 360 ($349) you are better of getting the 80gb ps3 for $50 more you get a Blu ray player, WIFI and free online! what more do you need!

Exclusive games like Resistance2, LBP, Socom Confrontation, Tekken 6, Motorstorm 2, (Bioshock), Ratchet and clank quest for booty and all the multiplats like Mirrors Edge, Left 4 Dead, Farcry 2, Mercenaries 2, Dead Space, Call of Duty 5, Fallout 3, Prince of Persia, fifa 09, pro 2009, and Sacred 2.
If I played everything that interested me on the Ps3 I wouldn't have time for any other systems. In fact I probably don't need any other systems with this kind of games lineup.

Resistance - No other multiplayer shooters gets me coming week after week. I never played Doom but I think its a similar effect.
Metal Gear solid 4 - No intro required quite simply the greatest game ever made, like IGN said if there was a game that deserved the score 11 this would be it, nuff said
Ratchet and clank - truly outstanding, this game is amazing, more than meets the eye
Uncharted - One of the most amazing games, probably the best looking game on any console. truly epic 10/10
GT5P - What more can I say greatest racing game franchise, nuff said
Edit: Let's not forget about the blockbuster titles in 2009 e.g God of war 3, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, L.A noire, Infamous, MAG, and who can forget about the blu ray titles e.g Dark Knight, Iron Man, quantom of solace Indiana Jones. Its good to be a ps3 owner, lets take moment and pray for these blockbuster games and blu rays!
