Forums - Nintendo Discussion - MK sells 3 times more than GTA IV in Others this week

MK sells 3 times more than GTA IV (PS3 + 360 combined of course) in Others this week.

It feels good to see hardcore games selling much better than casual ones. Go MK !

Mario Kart Wii will be the biggest seller this gen (consoles).

Just like Mario Kart DS, it will pass the 10 million mark.

GTA IV already passed the 10 million mark.

True, but MK will have much longer legs, just look at MK DS sales. How many games even imagine selling those kind of numbers 33 months after release.

Edit : I know of Brain Training, Nintendogs, NSMB. There might be a few others...

BAM! There it is!

Wii Code 3456 7941 4060 2924
COD MW Reflex 541192229709

What where the anylist projections again on the GTAIV. hardware and software numbers?

I know you didn't. But I do think MK could top this gen. It will at least be top 3.

I just wish I could buy the damn game.

It's seriously nowhere to be found.

GTAIV looks to me on track to end 2008 about 11.5 - 11.7 million.

Mario Kart Wii looks on track to pass 10 million by the end of the year.... that 1.5 million will not take long to catch up with.
