It probably will sell very well but like said, if it sold a copy for every PS3 out now it still wouldn't stack up to its predicessors.

Because until there is a game that is released on the PS3 in Japan that sells well I wouldn't assume any game will sell well on the PS3 in Japan.

he didnt say it was the best racing sim he just said it was the most popular. declining sales with each version isnt a very good point because the first version on a new console (gt3) is always going to outsell the second version (gt4) because of the massive difference in graphics between gt2 and gt3 and the small difference in graphics between gt3 and gt4. it happens with every sequel, mgs 2 outsold mgs 3, gow 2 wont reach the numbers of gow etc etc

If GT5 does not have damage, it is not a simulation racer and should not be compared to simulation games like Forza 2. It's an arcade racer and should be compared to PGR4, which should be out earlier anyhow.

If you go along with the taglines for each one, GT is the "ultimate driving simulation" and TOCA is the "ultimate racing simulation". Which I would agree with. Racing on GT4 wasn't very good (you could wall ride/bash other cars etc. and there were only 5 opponents), however, I found just driving on it very fun, for instance getting something like the Golf GTi MK I, turing off the driving aids, and just mucking about really.

Say what you like but I've never insulted anyone directly like you have. And its still a good point, even if you don't agree with it.
