I think this is a very new and original IP from Sony coming out in October and Sony also is banking a lot on it as seen from there statements... So there are two very important question... which market is going to welcome LBP most strongly in total unit sales wise and in percentage wise ie. (Sale of LBP in the region/ Total PS3 in that region)

I m not sure if its going to appeal a lot in the NA market... i think PS3 owner in NA are more hard core.. so NA may have the lowest unit sale of LBP also along with the lowest % sale of LBP... but there r still 2x PS3 in NA then in Japan.. so thats why giving it a bit of benefit...

So wot are your predictions in this regard... I am not predicting the total sale of LBP or first week sale of LBP or hardware boost PS3 going to or not going to have.. I think there are many threads on that subject.

i think you got it about right, but i would say japan is an unkown region, they are having seriously crazy marketing thrown at them with this game

I'm a North American PS3 owner and I will buy this the day it comes. I think the attatche ratio will be higher in Japan.

i think this game is overpriced and sony should of sold it as a $30-40 game on PSN and blu-ray not $60 bucks.

This game is not gonna sell much IMO and people are gonna be a lil surprised at its low sales.

But it looks hot and ima sony fan so ima get it!!

i think it will be interesting to see units moved in others vs america this gen.... though most likely what needs to happen is
europe needs to be defined and then a new others catagory ..
i feel that the 360 is behind, or even in europe givin the different reports and reading we have from companies (sorry sony but north africa is not europe).
in true others outside of europe, the 360 has a lead, but its deminishing, just a thought ... might make a cool new chart

It was the first thing to come to mind for me when I read the question. It seemed like the best bet.

I think the attach rate will be second highest in Japan, not saying that it won't sell well in NA, am sure it will do awesome in NA, just not as amazing as in EU and JP.
