Well my girlfriend got herself a new Blue DS lite, and i was wondering what she can get for it? She got brain age and a crossword game, i suggested New Super Mario Bros. , but since I'm mostly a console gamer i don't know too many good games for the DS. She is mostly a PC gamer and her favorite game is The Sims.

And no she doesn't want Imagine Babies or Horses, we both laugh at those games.

Although if she's into The Sims, Animal Crossing is almost sure to be a hit with her.

Yeah, she really wants Mario Kart. I forgot to mention that. May get it for her sometime when i have the money. She is also really into some mystery type games like Nancy Drew.

Even better than Animal Crossing, if she likes The Sims, get her...The Sims!

If she is into Mystery games then almost all of those adventure games in the link I posted should be a good choice.

If she's into mystery games, there's either Hotel Dusk (which is pretty film noir-ish) or Trace Memory (which is closer to Nancy Drew). Alternatively, you can get one of the Nancy Drew games for the DS (I think there's two of them out right now).

I also forgot to pimp Elite Beat Agents (an incredible rhythm game: look it up on YouTube to see if it'd appeal to her).

And Onyxmeth is right: the DS has several Sims games (how I managed to forget is beyond me).
