Technically the tower in Dubai still beats the Sears Tower by a bit even without the top...though it certainly does taper off a lot near the top.

It's completely hideous and disgusting.

It would work in the middle of nowhere, but in the middle of a regular city it destroys the look of the city.

I say go for it, but at least ditch that ugly swirly crap.

I understand the drive to make it unique and not like the regular rectangles, but if all they could come up with was "swirls" then they shouldn't have that job if you ask me.

Can't really tell I never have been in Chicago but if I think about Chicago I think about those gangsta 20-30 buildings and this building doesn't fit in my view of Chicago...Oh well =p.
