can the ps3 outsale the xbox 360 in 2009 and if so will it be early mid or late 2009

It will happen in mid 09.

i am pretty sure ps3 can outsale 360 some where in 09 alot of people believe that end of 08 their is going to be only a 3 million diffrence beetween the ps3 and 360

It will of course considering the Xbox brand doesn't have the popularity of the Playstation brand. It doesn't the system sucks though cause of sales.

I am saying mid to Q3 09. Microsoft is turning up the heat to high for the Ps3 to really pass it this year, (especially what will be the most aggresive price drop this gen.) I'm even wondering if the price drop could do a little tap on the Wii's sales. (in Na only.)

Strange, the optimistic assertions in this thread when the Xbox360 has outsold the PS3 for the last month, will probably be close or ahead of it this month and most certainly will have a decent margin next month when the price cut takes effect.

Oh wait a minute, you said last month, what happen to the last 6 months of the year too? Thats not enough to back up your claim. PS3 will outsell the Xbox 360 in 2009 if it keeps outselling the 360 the rest of the year. This is the year of the PS3, next year is FULL Speed!

Please explain these numbers to us. Because I fail to see why you said Xbox 360 outsold Ps3 last month.

This weeks sales of Japan's Xbox 360 and PS3 are not included. I see no differance if they were added or not, because Xbox 360 needs 21,000 units to outsell PS3. Japan won't help make the differance.

i think squill mean this month, ps3 had supply problems, so last week was low sales in na for ps3, this week ps3`s were trickling back to stores so it was nearly double. next week hopefully ps3 supplies will be back in the shops fully, including the bundles.

i can recall last year at xmas, ps3 sold as much as if not more than 360 during xmas period, with a hefty price tag.

i predict ps3 to also this fall put in good numbers
