Launch Day, no problems here.
What's the tally at now?
A lot more people have Wii's than the other consoles here...

My Launch Wii has frozen once while loading a new area on the Launch copy of Zelda.

That's an occaissional issue with Wiis. My friend had the same thing happen. Go to Nintendo.com and use ther system to email support that you need a repair. I don't know if your waranty is still good this late, but you should be able to find out either on the phone or through their website. |
Warranty is a year long, 15 months if you register your Wii at Nintendo.com, so it should be still good.
I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.
Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)
Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

Bought my first Wii on launch day. Than bought a PS3 and put them on the same shelf about 12 inces apart. Within 2 weeks the Wii was giving my massive graphical glitches. Called Nintendo had it replaced in 2 days but had to repurchase some of my VC games I could of gone wiht the send it in and send it back and keep my games routine if I wantted but I just wanted to play. My second Wii was stolen but no problems since relocating it(over 2 months.
The PS3 crappe dout 3 months after purchase while updating to 1.6 it wouldn't boot It was stolen the same day as the Wii whie waiting for Sony to send me a box to send it back(it came the following monday).
Mine runs fine still... even though it's like new... still smells new when I turn it on. (the exhaust air)
However it makes a horrific Grinding/clicking sound when it is turned on/off, and when a disc is loaded... but that's normal for this great peice of machinery.
Ran my PS3 for well over 600+ hours so far. (folding@home time)
I'd say around 100-200 hours on motorstorm, about 40 on Enchanted arms, about 10 on SSDHD, and around 15-20 on the Darkness...
So I'd give the PS3 around 700 hours of runtime. Add in the fact I have a bad habbit of not starting folding at home... add around 100-200 hours... So I've ran my PS3 for damn near 1000hours. Not a single problem yet.

Got my WII since 9 December. Except a broken adapter, everything just fine. That's because I used the adapter, via the converter, which was delivered with my JP WII. Using AC Adapters with converters is not a wise thing to do. I got an European Adapter now and works just fine.
I see your sarcasm is alive again kwaad. ![]()

Since mid-December - no problems but my router often screws up the Wi-fi connection. Then again, it does it with Ubuntu too, so yeah, no problems.
