MGS4 is by far the most accomplished game of this generation.

By far.

The presentation (graphics/sound) exceed pretty much everything we've seen.

The gameplay is the issue....no, its not to everyones tastes, but then, what game is? We dont ALL love FPS games, and we dont ALL love sports games, just like we dont ALL love a third person stealth game.

But the majority of people who have played it are those whos opinions should count. And most of those so far on thsi thread have said yes, it is the best game this generation

I think it sums up the game quite perfectly.

Ok, my personal opinion is that Genji 2 was a better game. I just loved how much more realistic it was than MGS4.

Yes I've heard the eight minute scene where a man deficates is above and beyond the standard of conventional story telling.

As we know your bias for this series really knows no limits and I doubt you've even played half the games on the Wii or 360 I really have to question what grounds you stand on to make such a claim, but I digress and take my leave to deal with other gems of our society such as the Sub-Normers who insist that GTAIV is the "Godfather" of video games and every below-average IQ joe blow who insists 'The Dark Knight'  is the best movie ever made.
