x360 is now behind almost by 4 mln.
If during Christmas, there won`t be very big boost, then on 3rd year, by the end of 2008 x360 has chances to reach 26 mln. Though it could end with 25 mln., 2 mln. in August-October + 3 mln. in November-December.
On 2nd year, PSP reached 18,5 mln., while x360 did 16 mln.
How much PS3 will sell by the end of it`s 2nd year, time will show, but it`s expected to reach 20-25 mln.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Yes. The Ps3 will sell less than half of the winning console this generation, just as the PsP.

This is a joke thread obviously, but I will dissect it anyway.
1) Just because Sony tell you the PS3 will be around for 10 years doesn't make it true
Reason why?
1a) Sony don't "choose" how long a console is on the market for, the consumers do and to some point I guess investors do too.
1b) PS3 wont be the leading console, its still struggling for 2nd place and even that isnt a dead cert now.
2) the PS3 hasnt sold 15 mill in any one year its been out, what are you smoking?!
3) The PS2 hasnt even been out 10 years yet and its sales this year will certainly not be at 15 mill or anywhere close. If the PS2 cant stay above/at 15 mill for ten years the ps3 most definetly cant.
4) I'm no wii fan but its here to stay and its not a fad, you have no proof or reasoning as to why the wii will just drop off after 5 years ... complete blindess.
5) Other things that go against the ps3 beating the wii and reaching 100 mill+
5a) The PS2 Launched first, The PS3 launched last.
5b) The GC & XB did horrible last gen and sony had no real competition.
5c) High price point, wont be able to get the price down for a LONG time, any fanboys hoping for sony to drop the price this christmas to compete against the 360 are living in fantasy land.
5d) Microsoft & Nintendo are fighting back this gen. They are both in a much better position to drop prices, buy exclusives, ect than Sony.
5e) Bluray isnt the second coming. People bought into dvd, it was completely different to video, the difference in quality was huge.
Also, PS3 has been out for 1 year and 9 months, and hasn't sod 15 million
Apparently, Sony fanboys will believe anything said by them.

Oh, and the Ps3 will sell 150 mil.

if you'd be reasonable..you'd see the Wii has a 10 year+ plan..
