I can see it beating the 360, but not the Wii, sadly.

On to topic, the PS2 is going to struggle to reach 10 years of sales, and it sold about twice as well as the PS3 has so far.

The Wii has a chance of reaching 10 years: everyone saying that there's gonna be a HD wii with a HDD in 5 years is wrong (IMHO), because graphics don't matter to the wii crowd. If it can clobber the PS3 then it can clobber the PS4 if it has 5 years of good karma and great games built up. Oh, and it'll cost like 20$ by then.

did u notice how he didnt even mention the 360 ?? cuz its a no brainer no contest  ! now the ps3 race with the wii is more interesting ...........that will be talked and debated about for years to come!!

No it won't.

I mean, it's not really a debate right now, just some people saying the PS3 is gonna sell 'like a billion consoles a month for the next... forever' and alot of other people laughing at them and calling them names. I would take the 'PS3 is gonna outsell the wii' with even the tiniest grain of salt if the PS3 ever beat the Wii for 2 weeks in a row, let alone sustainably, let alone by enough to beat the 15 million console head start Ninty has right now.

Yea Wii is the only console that isn't in the future and only people with time machines can play.

It isn't the best time to be saying this nonsense, as the 360 has been recently outselling the PS3.  Not to mention the Wii consistently outsells it at least 2-1 every week...
