Well, by mid of 2009 will be probably around 1.1-1.3 millions of 360 in japan, if blue dragon sold 200 k with 400k xboxs in japan, ff13 could sell, why not, half million, and if they make a ff13 bundle, then yes, the 360 will take a rocket to the moon.

The current SE party line is that its not being released in Japan. But everything they say should be taken with a grain of salt, so who knows? I wouldn't be surprised if it does get a Japanese release but its only speculation at this point obviously.

yeah if it bundles it then bam its a gold mine for microsoft, but i dont know the whole deal with bundles. im pretty sure the sony already announced something or mention'd they are bundling it but that was probably a rumor or something. but again i dont know if you have to pay SE to make it a bundle or ask them i dunno

This is great news. It will mean that all people in Taiwan can now get the pirated version on the 360 as China is well known for being the biggest pirate market in the world. Forget making a small potential profit on the PS3 (although it may be cracked by then ofcourse), and lets put it on piratebay now!

Even if this does come out on Japan, would you think more people are going to favor the Xbox 360 version or the PS3 version? Thats right, the PS3 version, they can't expect to make as much compared to the PS3 version. Japan is home to Nintendo and Sony with Microsoft lingering in third. While America is home to Microsoft.

Just about 50% of the games are really region locked. The others can be played all over the world

I believe their will be a japanese FF13 on xbox360 with the recent rise in xbox360 sales.

I fully expect that they are already porting a Japanese version now. Considering thats the version that is nearly done on PS3 and how easy it is to get games looking good on 360, I would not be surprised at all if there was another announcement soon.
