eh, I'm not really getting the vibe that he is calling the Wii a fad. More that he doesn't believe Sony should copy something (the remote) and that Nintendo is doing it their own way.

I just don't get why people continue to post these kinds of articles from any company. It's like they expect Sony/MS Executives to say, "Don't buy our product, go for the Wii!"

I think that its fair to assume that if the PS3 is out for 10 yrs that they will move plenty more units, and its only a question of whether the PS2 buyers will graduate to a PS3 or if alot of them have already gotten a 360 or a Wii.

I think in a sense its ok for them to say they are leaders, i mean blu ray is obviously the future, but I think they copy more then they're willing to lead on. for example the sudden inclusion of motion control in the PS3 controller.

I also think they will never appeal to senior citizens so they don't care, but its not fair to call the Wii a fad when its clearly kicking their ass. Its not wise to publical bash a device that is greater then your own, it would be smarter to aknowledge it success and agree that they two are trying to appeal to all gamers.

I get it Mature = Violent. Wouldn't mature people think that a game's quality doesn't reflect it's violence factor.  That's why I guess I feel really mature when i'm driving on the Interstate.
