I think that its fair to assume that if the PS3 is out for 10 yrs that they will move plenty more units, and its only a question of whether the PS2 buyers will graduate to a PS3 or if alot of them have already gotten a 360 or a Wii.
I think in a sense its ok for them to say they are leaders, i mean blu ray is obviously the future, but I think they copy more then they're willing to lead on. for example the sudden inclusion of motion control in the PS3 controller.
I also think they will never appeal to senior citizens so they don't care, but its not fair to call the Wii a fad when its clearly kicking their ass. Its not wise to publical bash a device that is greater then your own, it would be smarter to aknowledge it success and agree that they two are trying to appeal to all gamers.
Nintendo = Innovation = Wii
