if everyone stops crying and says hell with it and keeps there nintendo were alright and all the 3rd parties will come crawling back eventually when nintendo's user base is overwhelming compared to the 360/ps3............

not to troll or anything but if this game was to be ported to the wii then it would be a stuttering fuzzy laggy mess compared to its hd counterparts and i dont know who would really want it.

if capcom did do a port of this game i am expecting it to be a very ow quality port and not take full advantage of the waggle

Capcom lowered graphic detail and resolution to bring RE4 to the PS2.  They'll probably do the same for RE5 and the Wii.

I'd prefer a Wii sidestory, or a continuation of Leon's story. I mean, let's be honest, RE5's biggest strengths are the sheer number of detailed enemies, and online/system link coop. I'd prefer them to make a new game, perhaps as a tie-in or leadup to the upcoming Regeneration movie.

You either:

  • have not played RE4: Wii and
  • have not seen the RE4/RE5 video posted above

or

  • are just an ignorant troll

Just watch the clip and you can't honestly tell me you think RE5 can't be ported well to the Wii.  RE5 is basically RE4 with a shiny gloss painted over it.  Take that away and it won't look as good but it will play even better with the Wiimote.

Can somebody honestly list out what makes RE5 not a good candidate for a Wii port?  All I keep hearing is "It wouldn't work/it would be so bad people won't want to play it."  Just list out why.

RE4 was easily the best looking game on Gamecube and to be honest. The Wii as well. Production values people!

RE 5 on Wii? It's looking possible.

Just to put this in perspective for people. Porting and downgrading it to the Wii should be cheaper than creating a new IP for the Wii.

RE5 on the Wii is at least a guaranteed 1.5 million sales on the Wii given RE4 and RE:UC' success. How many other titles do Capcom and other publishers put out that have no chance of hitting that mark? Capcom would be foolish to turn down such free money.
