Final Fantasy IX is probably the one that stands out the most for me. Had it since release, still not completed it even though i've had multiple attempts. Currently trying to finish it on a save i've been playing on and off for about 3 years!

Excluding arcade type games, the only game I remember ever finishing were Baldur's Gate, KOTOR and Freedom Force I & II. I also put 100+ hours into Guild Wars but that was still less that 1/2 way through the initial story.

Mostly I don't play enough to ever finish any game before something else is out that I want but I have an embarrassingly large collection of games I hope to one day finish.

A game has to be highly addictive (or really short) for me to complete it.
