They're mainly talking about PS3 vs. 360. When speaking on that, what you're saying is the nonsense. PS3 has consistently outsold Xbox360 in decent amounts since November of last year, in Japan PS3 is absolutely crushing Xbox360, with sales usually easily several times as fast as Xbox360, and in europe, PS3's cumulative hardware sales have already outsold Xbox360's cumulative hardware sales. The facts are on the site you're posting on. Go look it up next time before you start talking about what you don't know. All system sales (not cumulative) November '07-present http://vgchartz.com/hwcomps.php?cons1=Wii®1=All&cons2=PS3®2=All&cons3=X360®3=All&start=39390&end=39649 All system sales (not cumulative, japan, PS3 launch-present) All system sales (not cumulative, europe, PS3 launch-present) |
So it is not that they are spinning the data it is that they are spinning the data? The Wii is crushing everything else other home console right now. There is no getting around that unless you want to try to completely reword and redefine what it is to be a part of the console wars.
And my 360 comment was clearly talking about America only. You are not in a dog fight if the other guy is a mile ahead of you. You might be gaining on them, and heading for a dog fight. You might be zooming past them. You might be just keeping pace with them, but that wouldn't make it a dog fight.
