And that is only a few games. See if they interest you. And NO the ds isn't only for children. IMO it has the best third party and First Party support this generation so far, and has games for every demographic.

I heard somewhere that if your age is between the ages of 6-90 or something like that, then the DS is for you.  In short, the DS should be for everone.

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

I'm 24, and I love it.

You can check out my game profile for all the games I would recommend. Also, the neogaf thread posted above is a great list.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

Unless you are no longer part of the human race, then yeah, you should be fine, since it's for everyone.

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

Yes, DS's are for everyone pratically. Just find a title that fits your tastes because I assure you that are some and there will be more.

Pixel Art can be fun.

nope.....it is too childish for me(played it in 2005)

The DS has great games that appeal to all ages. But if you're still worried about appearing childish, then I suggest you stay away from the more mature stuff: evidently you aren't ready.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

The DS is good from birth to death!
