I will be honest, RE5 looked terrible to me at E3, the AI was awful and not just "representing the intelligence of zombies" awful, but truly truly awful.

So in short I don't really care one way or the other =)

I also was not impressed, the gameplay looks way too similar to RE4, it's like they haven't made any improvements at all.

They improved the graphics, have roughly 5x the amount of enemies at any given time, coop, the light/darkness feature that obscures your vision, a very seamless inventory system, enemies the size of a house that aren't even bosses, all on top of an already mind-blowing gameplay system that didn't even need changing!!1! Wow!!1!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

wow, how i would love to 'casually' tell this guy to shut the hell up.

Give me proof or just get the hell out, What does Sega have anything to do with RE5?

Did you not see my post where I poiniently illustrated that Sega's new studio features a number of former Clover (Capcom) staff that might have access to such inside information?

Read the damn thread first.

Well Sega and Capcom/RE5... NO way. Id rather not see RE5 on Wii than for Sega to touch RE5

This was in Kotaku's news regarding this notice:

"Talking to Capcom's Chris Kramer outside the publisher's E3 meeting room, he seemed genuinely surprised to hear of such a product. We told him that we already knew about the existence of Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop and he suggested that Mr. Jeffery was simply confusing the two products.

As far as a Wii port of the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 title, Kramer asked of us "Have you seen Resident Evil 5?" implying that such a port would be almost impossible, adding that he'd not heard any such product was in the works for Nintendo's platform.

Finally, we followed up with Mr. Jeffery himself who said the mention of Resident Evil 5 for the Wii was just a "simple slip of the tongue."

"We’d been discussing the Res Evil 5 showing at the Microsoft event earlier, and it was still on my brain – that’s all," he wrote in an e-mail."

Obviously he gets confused and make this statement,so don't get your hopes to high, this colud be probably the best thing  looking at how Dead Rising port is looking by now.

He got a Xbox 360 game confused with a Wii game?  Not sure I believe that.

Then again, I don't believe that a Sega executive just leaked a Capcom game either.

Maybe he confused it with RE4 or Dead Rising.  Or maybe Capcom is really thinking about putting it on the Wii.

I'll believe it when I get an official announcement from Capcom.

Resident Evil 5- the worlds most racist game. Coming to a wii near you

Yes there should be some kinda law that only white people can appear in games!!

But seriously the only raciest thing about this game is when they added more white zombies to keep the complainers happy, now its not a fair representation of the country the game is based in. Zombie game in Africa = Black Zombies, anyone who thinks thats racist is just trying to hard to not be racist themselves, which likely means they are if they need to try to not be.

I don't believe for one second that some random guy from Sega would know about something this huge and just let it slip. Even Microsoft managed to keep the FF13 announcement under wraps when just about everything they have was leaked weeks before E3.

Sega announced this? Weird.

I would think that Capcom would like to fix Dead Rising up first before starting this game.

So how was dead rising wii? Apparently you have played it! That's great! Can you tell me if more zombies come out later in the game, like in the 360 version? Thanks

Just kiss the tip.

I know its been said already, but why is Sega a reliable source of information about this? It would be like Bungie announcing that FF 13 Versus was going to the 360.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
