Forums - Gaming - Torn between versions of Force Unleashed

Currently, I have the Wii version of Star Wars Force Unleashed preordered.  I'm really intrigued by the Wii version for its interactive controls and exclusive duel mode.  However, Star Wars is eye-candy.  Therefore, I'm starting to second guess myself and thinking about the PS3 version instead for the stellar visuals.  Since the Star Wars Clone Wars Lightsaber Duels game for Wii will probably feel similar (and possibly redundant), I'm thinking I could get the PS3 TFU and have the best of both worlds.  Opinions?

One thing you should consider as well is that the Wii version has more levels and that the HD version has some nice engines working (Euphoria).

Anyway, whatever you choose, I don't think you can go wrong. Both versions seem to become awesome.

You should get Unleashed for PS3 and then clone wars for wii since it's exclusive.

I still would pick the Wii version... Extra levels + Duel mode vs a better physics engine ??

Easy choise for me, besides i don't have a ps3/360 anyway

That's kinda how I'm leaning.  The more I look at Clone Wars, the more it looks like its gonna feel exactly the same as TFU.  Having said that, I still want both.

I really think you should get both versions as they're two absolutely different gaming experiences, that's what i'm doing if i have my 360 by then and from what i've read and heard a lot of people are doing the same.



nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

That's what I reccomend, because the PS3 TFU does look like ones the best games this year

Do you actually mean both the PS3 AND Wii versions of the same game?  There's no way I'd do that.  That just seems silly.

To bad ... for me its pretty easy : the PSP version . It has ( at least it seems so from previews ) the quality of the PS2/Wii version and its portable :P

Still if I would be you I would buy the PS3 version and rather buy the Clone Wars for the Wii :)
