No offense...but Tekken is about as deep as a Rock_On post on this forum. Especially compared to VF or DOA series...

Good lord. If i hear another person that knows absolutely nothing about the hardcore fighting game scene talk shit about tekken, I'm going to puke.
DOA is among the worse fighting games with the crappiest competitive fanbase thats worth mentioning. Tekken is and ALWAYS has been the premier fighting game series in major fighting game tournaments around the world(including EVO). while Tekken is not as popular as SF3rdstrike or CVS, it always has a higher turnout rate (and pot) than SC, VF, MvC2 and Dead (laughs) or Alive. Though with that being said, VF IS deeper than Tekken, but DOA? no. Regardless, calling Tekken a beatemup (no surpise given whos mouth it's coming from) and calling it as deep as Rock_On only shows ignorance. Just go to zaibatsu.com and attempt to read some topics on dash cancelling, wakeup game, just frames and move list properties. After that, maybe some of you might understand how deep tekken really is and why it always has the biggest turnout/competition for 3d fighters as far as tournaments are concerned.
OnTopic: With the arcade scene dying down, I wouldn't see the logic in Namco keeping this game PS3 exclusive... unless Sony pays them.
