I was just wondering whether completing a game on a harder difficulty unlocks it on an easier one? Or do you have to replay it on easy? Also is this the case in most other games? Or is it game specific?

Yeah you should get the achievement, I don't know if this applies to other games but it should.

I known that in tomb raider legend if you complete it on hard you get about 500gp in one hit (hard, normal and easy+final level), but other games need to be completed seperately. I only started hc after I finished easy, as it was the first dual analogue shooter I played without ETM files to help me.

I know it is that way on Halo 3 (the acheivement includes that cause) which makes me fear that I wont. I am only halfway through act 2 (I did part of act 1 in co-op on easy) so I will find out tommorow
Yeah, pretty much every game with difficulty levels in them have stackable achievements, just not Guitar Hero II and III (Aerosmith does though).
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
