Does completing a GeoW on hardcore unlock the acheivements for easy too?

I know it is that way on Halo 3 (the acheivement includes that cause) which makes me fear that I wont. I am only halfway through act 2 (I did part of act 1 in co-op on easy) so I will find out tommorow
