Also I hear the 40GBs are not getting restocked now in prepartion for September and the new 80gig. This would match what Sony's Diller said as well although the clearing has started a bit earlier than I thought. Diller also stated the new 80gig will soon be the only SKU in NA.

they only phased out the 40gb one
i hope with the time we get a fully 80gb+ BC. for those few users without a ps2 and alot of money
