The Conduit is going to sell great because:

1.it has a lot of hype

2.there are few, if any, competitors for shooters on the Wii

3.the game is looking great

3 million lifetime? 90% of Wii owners have not even heard of this game.

It will sell 1.5 if it is marketed well, gets good reviews, and finds an audience.

1 million is far more realistic.

Well duh.  But they will hear about it as it is about to come out.  This is common with even very popular games like Final Fantasy, Gears of War, etc.  The game can sell 3 million since shooters happen to be huge sellers right now.

1. it's totally new

2. shooters tend too underperform on the wii

3. why should wii owners care? a normal xbox360 or ps3 game looks better

I hope so, I don't want to be buying The Conduit every month until they reach good numbers.

Don't know about first wek, but I'm sure this game will sell close to 2 million WW.

I say you guys are all way too high on the 1st week sales. I'd say 125-250k. But it'll become the new RE4 and continue to sell week and week until it gets to 1.5 - 2m. A huge success for HVS.

This will prompt some followers but not many and probably not as good mostly.
