I have yet to try a shooter for the wii, soon I'll get RE4, heard the controls were great.

Yeah RE4's AWESOME, the controls are so much better than on GC, really really impressive and fluid. :)

Eh, that's not really a shooter. But it IS the game of the century, so you're still making the right choice.

I always thought that considering the motion controls... The Wii would be the best for shooter type games.... Maybe even a thing like X-Wing Vs. Tie Fighter to.... I think that would be awesome.



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

There's great potential, yes. Medal of Honor Heroes 2 would've been a bad game with dual analog, but the Wii controls push it into average territory.

Third-person controls are also under-represented, considering that it's even easier to design. Resident Evil 4 was able to side-step the bounding box entirely. Now there are certainly games that will want to be a more run and gun experience, and stopping to shoot isn't compatible with that, but it's an area of development that's ripe.

I saw this post and thought: well, based on the number on VC and along with the announcement of Gradius and the already-available Star Soldier R that, sure, it was a plausible contention. Then I clicked and realized this is another one of those threads calling FPS' "shooters"...*cries*

Lol i think you are going tooooo far the wii yeah the conduit will be great but PSN its also free, they got killzone 2 and mag 256 dont forget about it and a lot of other good games, i think the wii its starting to be a good fps console but it will NEVER be the ultimate because FPS on the wii have never sold good and they never will so developers prefer to go to other consoles to make their epic FPS titles because they will always or most of the time will have great sales
