Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft: 'Stealing Playstation franchises is very important to us'

Yeah...because without games that were formerly exclusive to PS3 the Xbox 360 would crawl under a rock and die just like his big daddy.

Looks like MS are becoming the new Sony. in terms of games and cockyness.

Sony's arrogance was in very poor taste at the start of this console war, now MS are showing the same poor spirit.

Predictions For Last Full Week of Sales in 2010)

WII - 80.35 Million

360 - 43.88 Million

PS3 - 41.40 Million

More terrible predictions coming Jan. 2011!!!

MGS4 IS NEXT~! BANKAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!2

HOnestly how such a low company has fanboys is beyond me,
The only thing that they're doing is copying the success of the playstation with force (DOLLARS), and the saddening part is that sony seems to have no answer at all :(

Microsofts strategy: Study what made the PS2 popular, then buy everything with cash (DMC, FF, GTA, Star ocean, RE, Silent hill, Winning eleven....), thank god that MGS is still exclusive to the system.
so what next??? Kingdom hearts on 360?, maybe, FF 7 ? propably, FF Versus 13 ? surely

as a sony fan i am disgusted by these times, i mean its ok to have mutliplatform games , but to force a company to land its flagship title on 360 is just pathetic (FF 13 !!!!!)

Competition is great between rivalling console makers, but this is no competition, prepare to hear soon that GOD of War is now a multiplatform game (i took it too far i guess :))

I completely agree with Shameless on this. After all, I'm sure all the Playstation fanboys were appalled when Final Fantasy VII went to PS -_-

Also, the question was completely unfair. He was literally asked "Which gets you more excited: Taking a piece of Sony's cake, or showing people that you're still in it to win it?"

What's he going to say? 'We DON'T like that all these top franchises are now available on our platform?'

People can no longer call 1up the Microsoft Defense Force--that was a horrible question to ask.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

why did you put "stealing" when he actually says "taking"?

Because that's what they do.

I noticed the same thing.  But interesting thing is that even with the 360 gaining support the original Xbox never had the 360 was not able to maintain its 10 million lead with either Nintendo and SONY.  But I remember reading an interview with Nintendo a few months back, and they came off the same way.  The console industry is becoming more and more like pro-wrestling.

;)

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

Balls!?

Truth is, without stealing exclusives, 360 owners would be stuck with Halo, Fable, Forza, Viva Pinata, and Perfect Dark Zero.

MS had to steal, or they had nothing.
