I agree, they must have somthing in development. Maybe they didin't have the games until they wanted to and they didn't want to hype, Nintendo never hypes a game that will be released in 10 years so your theory has sense.

You mean want Nintendo to say like "we'll trying to support 3rd party games by not saying much about our game ,so people can put their interest in other games"?
Well ,i'll bash Reggie head if they say so XD
it could be,but ninty also said they dont want to show games without them being released soon after
I think Nintendo gave their "State of Nintendo" speech.
Unless you have something shocking -- like getting FF XIII -- you aren't going to make a big splash at E3 this year. Too many pull outs. The event is falling apart.
Also, I agree that Nintendo wanted to give its "third party partners" the chance to shine. Heck, of the six Wii games shows, two were from Ubisoft which has been subjected to extreme scorn (basically "ripped a new one") on these boards. There were only two Nintendo games -- Wii Music and Wii Resort Sports), a Lucas Arts Game (SW: CWs) and an Activision game (CoD5).
Finally, I think Nintendo might do something on its own. I don't belive it is going to GDC in Lipzig. And TGS in not until October.

Out of all their developers, NST is the only one that doesn't have something, which may be in development. So it could easily be that this is what they have. |
Metroid prime 3 was finished almost a year ago. Plenty of time for a demo of a game. Just so you know the conduit started developement last october. Look how much stuff they have ready.
Disaster almost released in japan last month. That means it probably was almost finished, but had bugs like you said. That doesn't mean they couldn't ready a gameplay vid or a demo.
I'm sure inteligent systems is big enough to work on more than one game.
Game Freak I don't know why you mentioned since all tehy made really was pokemon.
Camelot was already said to be working on a wii rpg, so unless its cancelled that could have been showed.
Then you have many smaller second party developers, and then there is third parties that could make games similarly to factor 5.
Nintendo is large enough to have something almost done.
Then like you said there is NST.

This isn't quite right. Last year it looked like this:
EAD Software Development Group No. 1 - Hideki Konno
- Wii Fit (Finished)
- Mario Kart Wii (Finished)
Both of their big games have been in the bag for awhile. Presumably they're working on something else by now.
EAD Software Development Group No. 2 - Katsuya Eguchi
- Wii Music (nearing completion)
- Animal Crossing (nearing completion)
- Wii Motor Sports (it looks like this turned into Wii Resort Sports, also nearing completion)
These guys are probably busy finishing up their titles.
EAD Software Development Group No. 3 - Eiji Aonuma
- ?
EAD Software Development Group No. 4 - Hiroyuki Kimura
- ?
EAD Software Development Group No. 5 - Takao Shimizu
- ?
Software Planning and Development Division No. 1 - Yoshio Sakamoto
- Card Hero DS
Software Planning and Development Division No. 2 - Hitoshi Yamagami
- Dr. Mario Wii (finished)
Software Planning and Development Division No. 3 - Kensuke Tanabe
- Various collaborations internal and external
Software Planning and Development Division No. 4 - Shinya Takakashi
- Wii Channels
- DS Letter Training (finished)
Intelligent Systems
- Card Hero DS
- Fire Emblem Port
- Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (finished)
HAL Laboratory Inc.
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl (finished)
- Kirby Wii
- Kirby Super Star Deluxe (nearing completion)
Genius Sonority - Manabu Yamana
- DS Literature Collection (ongoing)
Monolith Soft - Hirohide Sugiura
- Disaster: Day of Crisis (delayed lol)
- Soma Bringer
Retro Studios - Michael Kelbaugh
- ?
Nintendo Software Technology Corp. - Shigeki Yamashiro
- Nintendo Crossword DS (finished)
So there's still quite a lot of capacity there that is most likely doing something. We just don't know exactly what.

I think he did all of that by himself. He took all of the announced projects for each developer and made a list.
