Just one word - sweet. I can't wait. Milking the series or not, the 360 has been the recipient of great news this week. Halo 4 can't come fast enough for moi.

Peter Jackson's halo project, Halo wars and now this. If these games sell like Hotcakes (and they almost Certainly will), Then in about 3 years time we'll be seeing Halo sports games.

will it be on the Xbox 360? or a lunch title for the Xbox 720? mmmmmmmm

well, maybe the reason Bungie wanted to seperate from Microsoft is not really "independence"

more like "making more money". Now in a open market, I suspect they are getting a lot more from Microsoft in making this game, not to mention a cut of the total revenue.

and more freedom to release games when they are ready, not that I felt any of the halo's were a rushed job, but any dev would want as much time as possible for games.

ARGH! I'm a big Halo fan, I've logged hundreds of hours into the Halo series and even I am strongly opposed to a "Halo 4". The series was originally billed as a trilogy, and any more main installments are just going to feel unnecessary after the ending of the third one, there really isn't much to build upon.

So what kind of Halo game will this be? Halo 4? Not the RTS game? And not that other Halo game they're working on that's gloomier and darker?

So technically, they're making 3 Halo games that they plan to release soon? Wow, that's ambitious. Awesome.
