the same argument I'm about to present was inspired by Nintendo fans in defend of Nintendo e3. "They are companies, they are out to make money".

 

this picture is enough to state all. Although as a gamer, it depresses me to see some of the name there as "TOP games"

Can't really blame them, since there's such a market for this drivel. I'd like them a little more if they'd go the Tim Burton route and use their commercial stuff to fund some more off-the-wall projects that might bomb, but they do put out a good game now and then.

But Ubi is a company, and the people who buy Petz games are the real villains here!

Get your facts right. No one bashes Ubisoft for making casual games. They get bashed for making shit casual games. On top of that they made things worse for themselves by promising Nintendo quality games.

Those are top games for girls. Why should it depress you to see games that cater for a different audience having a top ten?

I'm actually very enthused that girls actually like Final Fantasy and Naruto games. It's interesting in anycase.

Perhaps more and more girl gamers will be the "savior" of the japanese RPG type games for one. Bringing in a fresh new userbase to a genre that doesn't get much love anymore outside of Final Fantasy.

Yeah they could triple their crap shovelware and we'd still love them..... if they give one or two decent efforts.

We're practical enough to acknowledge that it's a smart business decision to exploit the Wii casuals for easy cash to fund games, we just want them to also fund some Wii games with it. Heck we made Red Steel a million seller even though that sucked. Put more effort in and I guarantee they'd get good sales.

These games are mostly on the DS anyway, their support of the Wii is still terrible. And if the only thing Ubisoft can do well is push Nintendog Rip-offs then that just makes them all the more contemptable.

Don't worry Kingofwhale, you tried your hardest to get the Nintendo fans to eat their words, but circumstances weren't in your favor on this one.
