Forums - Nintendo - so is GTA DS 2D or 3D?

I'm confused I know they said they were doing it, but is it 3D or 2D. I can't imagine it is 3D, I can imagine it is like GTA on the GBA.

Why can't you imagine it 3d? DS does 3d better than the N64.

^The DS, while having the best games on any system, also has the graphical capabilities of a dead mackrel IMO.

Also, an entire city in 3D would take up more memory than the maximum 128Mb cartridges can fit onto them.

The maximum is 256mb, and its even increasing to 512 soon. Also there are such things as compressiong, and the game would be at a lower resolution taking up less space. As for the ds' graphical capabilties. I will repeat, they are better than the N64s, and the first sandbox game was on the N64 in 3d, and it was made by rockstar.

Hopefully 2d. I prefer handheld games that are 2d.

I'm not really a GTA fan, but if it is 3d and has a good soundtrack, then I'll get it because it would be a good time killer when I am waiting around.

You mean the console that was removed from the scene by the PS1? Wow that was a long time ago. 2D sounds more logical and we need more 2D games anyway. but perhaps they try to do it in 3D.
