Dead rising is truly one of the most underrated games of the past 2 years...... its an excellent game on 360, so many different ways to kill the zombies (tvs, dumbells, plates, hammers, chainsaws, cd's, orange juice cartons lol and many many more) the boss fights are all unique and challenging too....... wii owners should pick this game up on day one and if theres any 360 owners who aint played this yet its now cheap because its in the 360 classics collection.... go get it

So this is CAPCOM's new secret  wii game?*sigh*

What is wrong? Dead Rising seems like a wonderful game. Especially when it doens't seem to be a direct port.

i guess people really wanted RE

I did too, but this is excellent news. Also I think there will eventually be more RE games on the wii.

me too, i guess ill get an HD console for RE, but i always wanted to play dead rising too

plus i think capcom will make another RE (rail shooter)

I'm willing to bet that we'll know about RE:Umbrella Chronicles 2 by the end of the year. They have four games to cover in it:  RE2, RE:Code Veronica, RE4, and RE5; plus whatever new story they want jammed in there.

As for Dead Rising on the Wii--I was saying months ago that I felt the graphics in that game could be done on the Wii.  This is pretty sweet news.

awesome this is great news

2 Zombie games now, including bikini zombie chicks, wicked. Plus FF4,Dark creatures and Madworld means were getting some nice Mature content finally. Im kinda excited

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

This is significant that they are porting a 360 game. Don't you see the implications here?

Also I would imagine Zombie smashing on Wii would be fun. This right here will make me want a Wii way more. (not being sarcastic).

Sweet! I'm glad I was wrong earlier about this game not being ported. Still, I reserve the right to be slightly cautious, as there's still the "surprising take" part to consider, which could be good...or not.

When they said a Wii version of a "next-gen favorite" this is exactly what I wanted.

I hope it's something new that they added to the game.

I don't think I'll be buying this game just because it's on the Wii. But Wii only owners should rejoice.

I will!  Using the Wii-mote to throw a pie in a zombie's face.  Nuff said!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
