This may sound mean but: Just because the Wii sells like PS2 doesn't mean that it is in fact the next PS2. The Wii has the same problems N64 and Gamecube had, with a revolutionary controller.

Actually the 3rd party support is significantly greater than that of the n64 or gamecube, and its ever increasing. Oh and the japanese support is increasing the most, and I could see it surpassing the ps3 or 360s after TGS. So that statement is very Fallacious.

I really think the third party support is a bit lacking. You should've seen the 3rd party support in the SNES days. You would never have wondered about that back then.

Of course its lacking, but it is ever increasing, and it is more than what the Gamecube or N64 had, so you can't say its in the same situation.

@Leetgeek

I'm a little lost, what does anything you posted in this thread have to do with the topic of this thread? Nintendo putting a greater emphasis on third party titles has nothing to do with how fantastic you think the third party line-up is. If all you want to do is troll Nintendo threads odds are you (like many PS3 fanboys) will soon be banned for a very long time.

I agree. Except, I don't consider RRRTV hardcore; it's no Boomblox.

I was actually thinking of Shawn White Snowboarding ... Not exactly the "Hardest of the Hard-Core" games, but it is certainly a conventional game that takes advantage of new controlls.

I said it in an earlier thread but E3 tis the season to repeat myself, so I'll make the joke again.

When Ubisoft said they wanted their games to be of Nintendo quality, Nintendo misunderstood and began lowering the quality of games down to Ubi levels.

Edit: Yeah, it wasn't funny the first time either.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

yes those were good, but i have a question will the mic work with more games then just animal crossing

Well not the same but comprable. It's a library that is heavily dependant on first party titles. Imagine for a second what Wiis gaming lineup would look like if you took Nintendo out of the equation. Fortunately Nintendo makes some of the best games in the world.

 I suspect that it will be possible to use it in other games, although I don't know how common it will be.

^hopfully they find a way to make it work for some already released games

I hope I can buy the mic separately. I am not an AC fan.

Me too. I despise AC but I may need this mic.

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Good points. Maybe we all had our expectantios too high and missed the subtle points between the lines.
