Actually the 3rd party support is significantly greater than that of the n64 or gamecube, and its ever increasing. Oh and the japanese support is increasing the most, and I could see it surpassing the ps3 or 360s after TGS. So that statement is very Fallacious.

I really think the third party support is a bit lacking. You should've seen the 3rd party support in the SNES days. You would never have wondered about that back then.

Of course its lacking, but it is ever increasing, and it is more than what the Gamecube or N64 had, so you can't say its in the same situation.

Well not the same but comprable. It's a library that is heavily dependant on first party titles. Imagine for a second what Wiis gaming lineup would look like if you took Nintendo out of the equation. Fortunately Nintendo makes some of the best games in the world.
