Games like Animal Crossing, Wii Sport: Resort and Wii Music have the potential to outsell all of the "Major" games that Sony and Microsoft were showing off. I don't know if this means that they "won" E3 or not though ...

Those three games will outsell almost everything else shown at E3, and they made some other pretty good announcements, so I can guarantee you they "won." That said, they sure fumbled their conference: I'm a huge Nintendo fan, and I was bored five minutes in, with only a few moments of interest here and there. Even when I was interested in the product, the presentation killed hype. So from a presentation standpoint, they were dead last (so far).

I agree with this. Even though I still think they should have showed games that the viewers would have been interested in, and by viewers I'm mean core gamers. They don't really care about most of those games. They don't even care about the MotionPlus in the context that Nintendo presented it. They need a MotionPlus game that seriously uses it for sword fights, like a new Zelda, Red Steel 2, or a Star Wars games. And even if they don't want to show those games (for whatever reason...) they could at least made the conference a little more "hip." lol The talking the entire show was a bit much, make the game presentations longer if anything, so there's less talking.

Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Ninty sucked, but next year, when the new wii sports launches, everyone will remember a very different E3 where Ninty magically won.

I'm actually quite optimistic that Nintendo will show exactly what the Mario and Zelda teams are working on, seeing as Iwata referred to them.

If they do, I'm happy.
If they don't, ... well... let's just say I don't have to worry over the amount of money in my wallet this year...

My former account was HeSSeH, but I lost it.

next E3 will be for Wii for sure.

well, i have been waiting for about the only pc game i have been wanting to get at launch, spore, so this actually plays out for me quite nicely. that just means i can waste spend tons of hours on that game while i slowly watch my gaming fund acumulating with moolah.

This looks like Nintendo Defense Force!.

No, if anyone won E3 it was MS or Sony. I rank it like this:

1. MS
2. Sony
3. Nintendo

Sony had the most consistent show however, and MS would be last if it wouldn't have been for the FF XIII announcement.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
