Totally agree. I can't see how anyone can seriously think an already announced RPG getting ported to another console beats the announcement of a brand new type of game which pushes forward all the boundaries and has never been done before. I'll be queuing up for one of the used PS3s all the FF fanboys were throwing out of their prams yesterday.

It's not about who has the most threads about a certain topic but who has the best quality games. The PS3.

LBP looks really awesome and so Resistance 2, but unless they had any kind of announcement like yesterday's, it would be impossible to beat losing on of their main exclusive franchises.
the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
Yeah Sony won easily. MS press conference was terrible until the FF13 announcement. People seem to think just because they are taking another PS3 exclusive, that they somehow won. Its still going to be on PS3, so its not that big. Sony had the best showing of games.

Yea right, cos PS3's video store is really innovative...

Very true. Gears, RE5, Fallout, XIII, Star Ocean, IU, TLR. I couldn't agree more :)
MS actually gave us multiple genres to care about. Sony was all about shooters, and Nintendo was all about casual.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Still on Damage control I see. Sony's conference was concentrating on games for spring 2009 and onwards. Does that not worry you? Every year Sony do the same. And it was far better than Nintendo conference, but Gears 2 and Fable 2 owned the graphics crown at E3. Also The PSN stuff paled in comparison to Live announcements. M$ win.
