That Zelda announcement is at the top of all announcements in history, i don't think it can be topped.

The first time they showed the N64 and Super Mario 64. That was soooooo amazing, yeah I only read about it, because they didn't do live streams back then but, damn!

yeah I know...the first time i watched it i was "OMFG", but I've seen this video without the people screaming( while I was searching this video...) and it's not that spectacular...I mean, it doesn't show anything revolutionary, it's only the "new Zelda". Maybe we were hoping to see the truly OOT sucesor...

probably if Miyamoto came out bottomless, i kid.

I dont think the excitement will ever reach that high of a level, mostly because those fans (including me) were starving for a true Zelda game for so long, but I think Kid Icarus, Golden Sun, or some kind of Pokemon MMO could reach that level of excitement.

Blizzard topped it with Starcraft II in Seoul last year, but Diablo III's announcement was freaking HUGE:
