Why did they not show these games at their conference?? Are they holding them back for some reason?

Good point... where is Alan Wake?
oh wait.. it was an MS conference where they hype games that are coming out within the next couple months.

they didn't show enough banjo
and I guess they are saving those games...
Splinter Cell and Alan Wake are possibly cancelled, can't believe they still aren't ready to show.
You do realize that more announcements are made during E3, not just at the initial conferences!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Yeah, but these are M$ published games(at least the Halo ones) and you would figure that any Halo and Peter Jackson related news would be show stoppers.

Bungie wanted more independence, maybe announcing games on their own terms was part of that deal. |
yeah well it does make more sens from a marketing and advertising point of view... talking about things coming out next year might be interesting and exciting for fans, but it has close to no value as a selling argument... especially with casual, and hardcore are already aware of future line up.... so talking and showing stuff for a far future is just a pure waste of money...
honestly have you ever seen a commercial on TV or in a magazine about a product coming out in more than 6 month ???? you wonder why??? because the impact it does now might be huge but 6 month later it has faded away for most people... the investment is not worth the impact, it's just decorum (and you all know who is the king at that game :P )
