So, if Sony fans start hyping Versus XIII to heaven right now, maybe Versus XIII will be announced for the 360 next year?

I did say it in another thread. It would be pointless to announce it for 360 now. When they could milk it for hype later.

Why waste the hype of the announcement when it will be lost in the hype of the megabomb drop.

IF it doesn't come to the Xox 360, then yes. I simply need that game.

If I have to buy a PS3 to play it I will. And I'll also pick up Heavy Rain, Uncharted and GoW3. But at the end of the day, I don't NEED to play those games badly enough to drop an enormous amount of cash. It's up to Versus to make me get a PS3.

 

 

Versus doesn't look that good..

How can you tell?  We've seen less of it then FF13... and all we've seen of FF13 is a trailer.

No, in my opinion if Microsoft had managed to gain a 360 version of FF Versus they would want to call the news from the highest towers now.

Hit Sony twice in one day? It would be too tempting an opportunity to let slide.

As it is, people are slowly sinking into the reality where SE could announce at any time past or future projects as being fully multi-platform. Announcing Versus as multi-platform a year down the line simply won't have the same effect.

Not for MS.  However it would have more effect for Square Enix.  Who would likely be the ones who get to decide when it's announced.

Here's how I think it's going to go. FF13 will be released for the holidays next year in NA and EU. It's going to have stellar sales on the XBox360. And then FF13 Versus will be announced for the XBox360.
