I did say it in another thread. It would be pointless to announce it for 360 now. When they could milk it for hype later.

Why waste the hype of the announcement when it will be lost in the hype of the megabomb drop.

 

No, in my opinion if Microsoft had managed to gain a 360 version of FF Versus they would want to call the news from the highest towers now.

Hit Sony twice in one day? It would be too tempting an opportunity to let slide.

As it is, people are slowly sinking into the reality where SE could announce at any time past or future projects as being fully multi-platform. Announcing Versus as multi-platform a year down the line simply won't have the same effect.

Not for MS.  However it would have more effect for Square Enix.  Who would likely be the ones who get to decide when it's announced.
