Forums - Nintendo - Can Nintendo "win" this E3?

FFXIII>>>Nintendo wii.

Man you're a fanboy.

That statement is wrong on so many levels.

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan...but I'm really bored with the series by now.

But it's just one game.  Your hatred of the Wii must be gret to say that one game is that much better than an entire system.

A 20 second Zelda trailer tops the total owning of the Playstation 3 by Microsoft?

Hah, no.

There isn't much that could compare to FFXIII.

From Nintendo, it is as follows.

WW:
Mario Platformer. That's on size with it.
The Legend of Zelda.
A real Donkey Kong game?

Japan:

Animal Crossing?

Europe:
A new Mario and Sonic game.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

^a real donkey kong game would be huge

maybe the MS X-Mote was a total red herring to get people on the wrong track.

+1 for MS misdirection.

aaaanyways, i would lol so hard if Nintendo announced that FFXIII was coming to the Wii as well.

That would top the MS announcment :-p

lol that right there would be epic

Who won E3 is up to presonal tastes. They majority of people I see here agree that besides FFXIII the microsoft show was weak. I believe that a single game can't save a crappy show and bring it up to satisfactory marks thast's just stupid in my opinion. In my mind all nintendo, or sony, need to do is have a nice show overall and it would step all over M$' show.

Of course I expect that a new Zelda game would probably 'win' e3 in the majority opinion.

My feeling is Nintendo will win this one easily, unless they make Wii Music the centerpiece of their conference. My reasoning is that everything is unknown at this point - so whatever they show will be new and exciting (Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, Zelda *fingers crossed*).

Add to that a tech demo of the new MotionPlus, if done right this would make everyone's jaw drop, and especially if demoed with a new Zelda (again fingers crossed).

Add to that the inevitable third-party surprises, Capcom still has a "surprising take on a next-gen favorite" to unveil (RE5 *crosses fingers*), although it could end up being a lame game. SE could reveal KH3 or DQX. And of course we will be seeing The Conduit, which will be nice but probably won't be a showstopper.

There's also the possibility of a DS redesign and a Wii storage solution. One or two things of what I have mentioned are bound to happen, and will probably be enough to outshine Microsoft's conference, but we will have to see.

what if Nintendo Released a Blu-Ray Wii; the Blu-Wii.

That would be epic too. It can play DVD movies and Blu Ray movies and the SKU would be like 350 or something.

Sure, with me at their side, there's nothing Wii can't do!

Other than that, I'd say that they have a very strong chance to have an overall better showing than Microsoft, but there are very few things that can beat the Wow factor of the FFXIII Bombshell.

Time will tell.

No, because Microsoft stole Sony's thunder.

But seriously, maybe. Overall, their conference was weak. It all depends on what Nintendo shows. If they have a lot of new, never before seen games then perhaps.
