And PS3 has been winning WW every week for seven months now.  There's no way it's not gonna beat the 360, FFXIII isn't going to turn sales around.

this also makes sense for Square, mind you. they just effectively doubled their potential market for software sales. If PS3 had a bigger userbase, this coup would have never occured.

You (not only you) are pounding like everyday     Userbase in Japan = lots of games = A lot of JRPG's.

And now the console with the smallest userbase is getting the most JRPG's and then not only small ones, the most are in fact quite big titles. 

And still you believe KH3 will be on the Wii because of his userbase?   SE just showed us that they love money.  Nintendo is not going to buy an exclusive why should they anyway they are selling Wii's like hotcakes so long it sells well they will not really care much what will go on the system. It is a different story for MS and Sony...They both need it...

I'm not thinking about selling my PS3 because FF13 was announced for the XBox360.  I'm thinking of selling it because in my eyes, it looks like Sony is sitting around on it's ass all day while Microsoft is busy making games and securing third party titles (both crossplatform and exclusives).  Seriously, how many exclusive PS3 games are out right now that are excellent?  Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, MGS4?  Heavenly Sword was decent, Haze and Lair were disappointing.

Microsoft has announced some huge bombshells that are probably going to have me sell my PS3 for an XBox360.  Netflix is a huge upset.  And running games off the HDD is awesome.  Less wear and tear on the DVD drive which is probably the thing most prone to fail (after RROD of course).

I mean, I LOVE that Sony opened up their platform to non-proprietary things.  Any blutooth headset works and I can use just about any storage device to back up my system or transfer save games.  I love that I can stick in any 2.5" HDD without voiding my warranty.  And believe me when I say that I think the PS3 is the superior console from a hardware perspective.  I also like the Dualshock 3 more than the XBox360 controller.

But NONE of that matters if the games aren't there.  And right now, I'm just not seeing the games being released for the PS3.  SOCOM: Confrontations is taking AGES to get out, and it's a PSN title.  What is Sony doing?  Seriously, it boggles my mind at how lax it looks like Sony is.  8 Days and The Getaway were in PREPRODUCTION when they were cancelled.  They hadn't even started production on those games.  Almost 1.5 years after the release of the PS3 and those 2 games (which they showed off at E3 06) were in PREPRODUCTION?  What the fuck is Sony doing?  Can ANYONE tell me what they are doing?

If I seem a little pissed off, I am.  It's incredibly annoying to see Sony drive itself into the ground like this, despite having, IMO, a better system (included wifi, any 2.5" HDD, any blutooth headset, etc.).
